Just downloaded this ep from nyaa it's ripped from Crunchyroll and it has 5 sub versions the german sub is set as default... so it pretty much explains itself

Guys, guys, you're missing the point! Senpai asked Nagatoro to draw her "favorite animal." She looked around for literally a few seconds before she decided she was going to draw him instead. I expect Senpai to miss these things because he's about as dense as a dying sun, but you all gotta be paying attention!
